This Fall has been off to a busy start. I had hoped to make my first blog post about a month ago. Better late than never, I guess. Here's two current North Carolina exhibits where my work can be seen.
Celebrates American Craft Week and it's 25th Anniversary
with Focus on Four, opened Oct. 9
Heartwood Gallery is celebrating it's 25th year of selling American craft with a reception and show spotlighting four regional potters. Outstanding pottery has long been a focus of Heartwood's collection and this show will feature special work by four western North Carolina potters Karen Newgard, Emily Reason, Sarah Rolland, and Robin Kirby. Introduces Table Manners
Oct. 1-Nov. 27
This exhibit caught the attention of Ceramics Monthly magazine. The December 2010 issue focuses on Functional Tableware and I was asked to share my thoughts on the topic as well as some images of my work. Keep an eye out for the December issue, available in early November 2010.
See pictures of the entire exhibition here.
